On a warm summers day in July, e2B were thrilled to attend Wings for Life presents The Clay Day at the marvelous West Wycombe Estate.
Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation and e2b are proud partners. As part of Team Red Bull UK, our Global Operations Director, John Ford and Operations Manager, Matt Laurenson took part in a Clay Day to raise money for the foundation. They were joined Andy Shaw, Paul Stewart and rugby legend Mike Tindall.
The day began with 4×4 off road driving, travelling to each shooting stand across the estate. After visiting three of the stands, Paul Bailey, three-time World and European Champion in the clay pigeon shooting disabled seated class, met the guests. Paul kindly joined as the sixth member of each team amazing everyone with his impeccable skills and boosting everyone’s final scores.
Come the end of the day, it was Team Red Bull UK who were announced as the champions having shot the most clays during the day! Each member of the winning team was awarded a hamper as a perfect keepsake of the event.
Incredibly, over £115,000 was raised on the day, enough to fund a research project for an entire year!
