Red Bull Drift Shifters takes the world’s best drifters, puts them on a custom track on the streets of a major city and rigs it with high tech speed and proximity sensors. Drivers must then show their skill, speed and precision as they manoeuvre their way around the features. The closer – the better. On August 19th 2018 the event made its UK debut on the streets of Liverpool, with the city’s iconic Royal Liver Building as a backdrop and e2b was on-hand to deliver all the logistical support the organising team needed.
The project began in the e2b warehouse with its experienced team preparing the branded assets and equipment required for the event and then loading the articulated trucks that would transport the kit to the event site. e2b’s event team were onsite in Liverpool when the truck arrived and quickly set about ensuring that everything was delivered and correctly placed around the track before. They were also tasked with preparing, assembling and installing the Red Bull branded assets, including a huge branded inflatable start and finish line and branded bars for the FoRB’s (Friends of Red Bull) area. Once the event came to an end they carried out the de-rig and ensured that all the kit was safely returned to the e2b warehouse, ready for the next event.
